In San Vito Lo Capo, an excursion to the Zingaro Nature Reserve is a must, a series of coves to visit, between sea and mountains where you can experience a wonderful day of new discoveries. A little outside San Vito, you can visit the Bue Marino cove, and Tonnara di Bonagia to discover where the local fishermen fished the popular tuna of our area. Other towns outside the town can be visited, such as Erice, Trapani, Favignana, Marsala, Segesta and Agrigento, considered the most beautiful places in Western Sicily.
THE ACTIVITIES
The main activities are underwater fishing, to discover our fantastic seabeds where to observe the beauties of our sea and territory. Climbing can be done in the mountains of the area, arriving at the top and enjoying the fascinating view of the town from above. Trekking is also famous, with the aim of reaching strenuous points with the pride of reaching magnificent places to discover so many beautiful resources of San Vito Lo Capo.
THE EVENTS
The two main events of the town are the Festival of Aquiloni and the Cous Cous Festival. The second, internationally famous, presents a well-known dish, where different countries come to present their dish with different ingredients. The Festival is in September, presenting important concerts and many activities to entertain visitors in our town. An event that lets you enjoy tasty moments, being part of many recreational and gastronomic events.
